Voice Data

If you use the voice search feature, your audio recording is sent to a third-party transcription service (Whisper API) to convert speech to text. The audio is processed in real time and is not stored by Stashly after transcription is complete.

• Process and respond to your search queries, including AI-powered chat search.

3. AI-Powered Search

Stashly uses a large language model (LLM) to power the chat-style search feature. When you submit a natural language query (e.g. "Where is my drill?"), your query and a summary of your stored item data are sent to the LLM to generate a response. This processing occurs on secure servers. Your item data is not used to train AI models and is not shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to process your query.

Your data is stored in a secure, encrypted database. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
